Managed and orchestrated contract development; enlisted team members from risk, law, finance, planning, engineering, and other cross-fictional departments to elicit comments on draft contract terms and conditions; and prepared and presented 10-year Qualifying Facility (QF) Forecast to executive management forecast committee.

· Articulated and complied with Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act (PURPA) legislation, created and presented forecast to FPL’s executive management committee, which approved its use for corporate, systems, and strategic planning.

· Managed and streamlined contract development, executed more than $527 million NPV in long-term power purchase agreements for cogeneration and small power production facilities.

· Accomplished comprehensive analyses of cogeneration capacity, demand, and energy rates regulated and required by Florida Public Service Commission (FPSC) from each individual utility company, FPSC deemed FPL’s analyses (my analysis) correct and asked all other utilities to “Follow FPL’s Lead”; later honored through second promotion.

· Designed, guided, supported contract development of interconnection agreements for purchased power derived from windmill, resource recovery (waste-to-energy), biomass, landfill gas, alternative energy, and cogeneration projects.
